Colin Lyle has 20 years experience in all aspects of real estate, wills, estates and family law including divorce, separation, property division, trust issues, spouse and child support, custody, domestic agreements (prenuptual, marriage and separation agreements), adoption and independant legal advice. Colin has also been involved in all forms of alternate dispute resolution including parenting co-ordination, mediations, and arbitrations.

Colin’s approach to family law is to encourage negotiation and settlement of matters in the most amicable, timely, cost effective, and child focused manner possible. Colin is passionate about his work , and as a strong advocate for his clients, will not hesitate to vigorously represent them in high conflict and complex court cases. With this in mind, Colin has extensive experience in all stages of court litigation including settlement conferences, contested motions, and trials relating to such issues as child custody and parental mobility rights.

Colin graduated with a law degree from McGill University in 1995 and a Masters in Public Policy and Public Administration from Concordia University in 1998.
